Cigar rest forged from 1075 carbon steel.

I used a trailer hitch ball to form the ash reservoir and round stock to forge the cigar rest. 

After the initial forging I put a small chunk of copper in the ash reservoir and let it heat till molten then pulled it out and let it cool. While the copper does reduce the overall amount of “ash tray” I think it adds an extremely unique look to this piece.

Weighs about 5 lbs.
